8 Simple Ways To Add Monochrome To Your Home

Posted by on

It's no secret that I am slightly obsessed with everything black and white. However believe it or not, I used to have more colour in my apartment, slowly as I have become older & my style has evolved I have pulled away the colour and introduced more monochrome staples into my home.

No matter how big or small your abode is, the 8 simple essentials below are the perfect way to introduce monochrome to your home. And when your ready you can update your big pieces like your furniture or painting your walls.

Don't get me wrong - I think finding a balance is key with monochrome. Keep the base light and try and stick to the rule of 2/3rds white and 1/3rd black or prints.  I always have a touch of greenery in my home too that adds a touch of serenity (succulents & plants are great), as well as piles of magazines that add a small hint of colour!
